The brain is the central organ and command center of the entire human body. It is where everything mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally, and socially begins.

It automatically regulates functions such as breathing, temperature, heart rate, digestion, and sleep. It coordinates movement, balance and all sensory input (sight, hearing, touch, taste, smell). It is a processor that receives bodily signals as well as signals from the outside world and interprets and responds to them. It has the power to learn, to store memories and to adapt to new environments and situations. The brain is the foundation of consciousness and has the ability of awareness, self-reflection, imagination, creativity and making decisions.

For it is with your Heart that you Believe….

Romans 10:10

Mentally and spiritually speaking, the mind, (the non-physical activity of the brain) is actually the true heart of a human being, not the blood pumping organ in our chest.

Since the beginning of time, this man created misconception about the physical heart has been promoted and perpetrated by nearly every segment of our society including religious leaders, artists, politicians, educators, athletes and every other conforming institution in our society.

This organ in our chest is just that, an organ. It is a reservoir, a pump and a processor of our blood, it is not some kind of supernatural link to God, the soul or any spiritual world. Because the physical heart is located in the center of the body, it has historically been given the title and reference by man that it is responsible for feelings, inspiration, emotions, pain, and other aspects of mental stimulation that are actually the responsibility of the brain.

Prepare your Minds for Action and be Self-Controlled.

1 Peter 1:13

The brain is the home of the mind and the mind is the creator of emotions, thoughts, feelings, actions, understanding, choices, decisions, habits and everything that directs our mental and physical reactions and responses to the outside world.

There is nothing that man has created, designed or put into motion that did not first begin as a thought in the mind of someone’s brain. It is a frontier that will never be fully explored or fully understood.

The brain is the only organism on this earth that must rely on its own knowledge and understanding as well as the knowledge and understanding of its environment and its relationships to even attempt to understand itself.” This is why the concepts of consciousness and awareness are so important for people to effectively lead themselves.

The brain is also a part of our overall being that is as unique to each individual as our fingerprints. It will never be completely understood. Although all brains are made up of the same material, each one is designed differently and functions in its own unique way based on the information that has been programmed into it over the entire life of the individual.

In other words, since our first breath we have been programmed to be the person we are today by everyone and everything that we have been associated with throughout our life.

I want to know the Mind of God.

Albert Einstein

The greatest challenge that each of us have is understanding how our brain works and to add to that challenge is the fact that the brain does not come with an instruction manual.

The ignorance and misunderstanding of how our brain functions is the cause for our society spending over $4,000,000,000,000.00 (trillion) per year to enable people stop thinking. This compulsion and addiction to over-thinking is the reason for so many mental disorders and inter-personal conflicts like anxiety, depression, sickness, disease, personal battles, drama and chaos that systematically destroy the lives of individuals, families, and all forms of relationships.
